2 Day Cairo Tour

You will have breakfast at the hotel and then you will picked up and driven to the Giza Plateau where you will then visit one of the seven wonders of this ancient world, which is the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Mykerinus and Chefren, and the Sphinx. All of these are believed to vary in age from six thousand to thirteen thousand years. You will also visit the Valley temple which stands facing the great statue.

Your lunch will be served to you at a good local restaurant after your visit to the pyramids.

You will then be taken to the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza Pyramids. This state-of-the-art complex is the largest archaeological museum in the world, showcasing over 100,000 artifacts that span 5,000 years of Egyptian civilization. Marvel at the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time since their discovery, including his legendary gold mask, jewelry, and royal possessions. The museum features colossal statues, immersive digital galleries, and interactive exhibits, all set within striking modern architecture with panoramic views of the pyramids.

After spending some time at the museum, you will go on to Old Cairo where you will see the Hanging Church as well as the Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Finally, you will be taken to explore the very lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar which has been around since 1382.

In the evening will be taken to the Cairo International Airport if you are leaving Egypt today. Alternatively, you can tell us where you would like us to take you. We will however have to part ways soon, and bid each other farewell.
