Kalabsha Temple

Often overlooked but incredibly impressive, the Temple of Kalabsha is a Roman-era masterpiece dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis. Originally located 50 km south of Aswan, the temple was meticulously moved to its current location on an island near the High Dam to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
